Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division(Hexagon) is seeking a Marketing Specialist.

 

This is a full-time and temporary position position starting on July 1st 2024 until May 1st 2025, based in the Italy (Milan office) with a Hybrid office set-up.

 

In this role you are responsible for creating and executing field marketing strategies in Italy, Spain, and the Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden). Your focus would be to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition and retention, and support revenue growth.

You will work closely with the field sales and channel managers in the above-mentioned countries and also with the broader marketing team, pre-sales consultants field and Account Development Representatives (ADR’s) to oversee the planning and successful execution of the local marketing plans.

 

This position reports to the Senior Manager Marketing in EMIA.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Take the lead (plan, implement, and measure) local field marketing campaigns that encompass demand generation activities and drive brand awareness, pipeline generation, and accelerated revenue.
  • Exceptional event management skills to meticulously plan and execute events from inception to completion, aligning with specified requirements, target audience, and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales and ADR teams to identify and prioritize target accounts and create well executed ABM specific local marketing campaigns that create impact.
  • Work closely with the program marketing, digital and communications teams to create and localize effective marketing materials including landing pages, direct (e)mailings campaigns, event communications, online content, brochures, blogs, white papers, checklists, and case studies, etc.
  • Collaborate with external PR agencies and with the communications lead to drive local brand awareness.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, social media (B2B channels such LinkedIn), paid search (such as google), marketing automation, and content development software for a variety of assets.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitive activities within your region.

 

           Drive demand generation through:

 

  • Virtual events, trade shows, and Hexagon hosted event programs.
  • Conduct market research to identify best practices, resources, and opportunities for organizing events.
  • Coordinate with internal and external business partners in planning and executing events.
  • Provide pre-and post-event evaluation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Digital paid and organic ads.

  • Ensure that all the activities are captured in our CRM system (Salesforce), use data to optimize campaigns and report on return on investment.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of local field marketing programs regularly to the marketing and sales teams.
  • Work closely with the Program marketing team and support when needed.
  • Manage local budgets for field marketing programs.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a global company.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in either business, marketing, or communications.
  • Having experience and understanding demand generation in B2B SaaS solutions.
  • Native or near-native English speaker, both in written and verbally.
  • Fluency in Italian and English required.
  • Proven expertise in leveraging digital channels to drive lead generation and brand amplification.
  • Having a successful track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, social media, marketing automation, and content development software for a variety of assets.
  • Experience with executing and managing Google and LinkedIn Ads campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills, and demonstrable experience synthesizing data and making strategic decisions using Salesforce, Pardot, etc.
  • Team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, flexibility, follow-through, and the ability to embrace the unexpected.
  • Readiness to tackle challenges; excited to win and driven to keep winning.
